Web Quest: A School Trip to England

As most of you are going to England in February, I've created a Web Quest you can use to plan your trip and your activities during your stay there.

Click on the following link, read the "task" page, then go to the "process" page and follow the steps:

When you've finished your quest, prepare a Power Point presentation and talk about it in class.

Homework for Monday 17th November

As you know, I'll be away for a whole week, from November 9th to November 16th.

As homework for Monday 17th, you have to prepare an article about Obama's and Mc Cain's political strategies, focusing on a particular issue (i.e. education, Irak, women, economy, immigration etc.).
Read about Obama's and McCain's stance on these topics in the following Web Site:

http://www.barackobama.com/issues/

If you need more information about McCain's position on some of these issues, go to:

http://www.johnmccain.com/Informing/Issues/

If you need more information on Obama's agenda as a President, go to:

http://change.gov/

At the bottom of the page, you can find Obama's agenda. Click on one of the topics to find out about Obama and Biden's plan.

Write an article of about 400 words. You can also give your opinion. Do not copy from the Internet, use your own words.

Send it to my e-mail address,
luisella.mori@gmail.com
by Friday 15th.

When you come to class, you should be able to speak about it for at least 5 minutes. You should be able to express your opinon as well (say why you agree / don't agree with some of the ideas you mentioned in the article).
